What you’ll be doing
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with potential customers primarily through phone calls, emails, and online communications. This role focuses on lead generation, relationship building, and converting prospects into customers. The Inside Sales Associate collaborates closely with the sales and onboarding teams to achieve sales targets and support overall business objectives. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Acquisition of new partners (restaurants and retail) who would like to voluntarily join Wolt (inbound deals)
- Qualifying leads to assess their potential as customers
- Converting leads into prospective deals and successfully transitioning them into closed, won deals
- Conducting back-to-back meetings with partners, mainly via telephone
- Negotiating prices and terms in order to prepare sales agreements
- Supporting the Merchant Sales team with other ad-hoc tasks
- Participating in company meetings with sales leadership and other sales representatives
- Managing ongoing communication with prospect clients to keep them informed of new product updates, promotions, and opportunities
- Tracking sales activities in the company CRM system
- Utilizing Excel for routine calculations and data management, and leveraging operational tools to handle merchant-related tasks efficiently
Our humble expectations
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role
- Previous experience making phone calls in a professional or customer-facing setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of motivation, drive, and resilience
- Customer focused way of thinking
- Native-level German and fluent in English

We offer an attractive salary starting at EUR 34.500 which is adjusted and increased depending how well you go through the process.

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting.
The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.
