Joining our Restaurant Partnerships team means becoming a driving force behind Wolt’s growth in Japan. You’ll build and nurture relationships with independent eateries and small food businesses, crafting tailored proposals that help them thrive in a fast-moving market. This role offers the chance to shape regional dining landscapes and bring culinary discovery to communities across the country.

What you’ll be doing

At Wolt, this role involves engaging restaurants and small food businesses that are not currently partnered with Wolt. You will handle the entire process, from lead generation through calls or visits, presenting tailored proposals, finalizing contracts, and handing over onboarding tasks to the Restaurant Specialist team. In collaboration with your Area Manager, you will design monthly strategies, prioritize outreach, and refine proposals.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Conduct face-to-face sales activities at restaurant venues or headquarters, with occasional Zoom meetings for discussions.
  • Analyze the market and identify potential customers.
  • Build strong relationships with restaurant owners and stakeholders.
  • Generate leads through cold calls and on-site visits.
  • Negotiate terms with restaurants.

  • Prior experience in sales or a proven ability to independently plan strategies and close contracts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Logical thinking and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • A flexible mindset to approach challenges from diverse angles.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (fluent) and comfort with English communication.
