We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee our local gear and logistics team in Germany. This is a high-responsibility role that involves leading a team, managing daily operations, and driving new projects to improve efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the local gear and logistics team, ensuring that team members are well-supported and motivated.
- Operational Management: Oversee forecasting, inventory management, and daily operations to ensure business continuity and fulfillment of SLAs. Ensure partners have a seamless and positive experience.
- Hardware Management:
- Order, prepare, and ship Merchant gear hardware, including tablets, printers, SIM cards, etc.
- Serve as the expert for all hardware-related topics.
- Own hardware troubleshooting, including updating guides for internal and external stakeholders and pushing for product solutions for known issues.
- Process Improvement: Drive and own new projects aimed at improving efficiency and quality within the logistics and hardware management processes.
- Replacement and Returns: Ensure all hardware replacements and returns are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Procurement Strategy: Influence procurement strategy by consulting and recommending better devices, processes, and cost-saving measures, including warehousing costs, spare parts, and shipping costs.
