We’re currently looking for a Merchant Services Specialist who will act as a key partner to the Merchant Services Team Lead and take ownership of high-impact initiatives end-to-end.
By collaborating closely with internal teams and merchants, you will directly shape how we empower our partners, improve satisfaction, and streamline operations.
What you’ll be doing
As a Merchant Services Specialist, you’ll own strategic and operational initiatives that improve how we serve and scale merchant support and merchants' operational excellence. You’ll translate priorities into structured plans, align stakeholders, coordinate execution across the Merchant Services team, and ensure delivery with minimal day-to-day guidance. You’ll also help build scalable processes, improve internal collaboration, and drive measurable operational outcomes.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Own initiatives end-to-end with minimal guidance.
- Orchestrate contributors across the Merchant Services team to deliver outcomes, ensure clarity on responsibilities, timelines, and next steps.
- Lead stakeholder management by aligning expectations, communicating updates, and managing risks.
- Produce structured project documentation.
- Lead process and quality improvements, ensuring scalable and repeatable ways of working.
- Support feature rollouts and implementations by coordinating launch readiness, internal comms, and post-launch performance tracking.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive scalable improvements, challenging the status quo and implementing best practices.
Our humble expectations
- 2–4 years of experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role in a high-paced environment, with a track record of executing work independently and taking ownership from brief to delivery.
- Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English (written and spoken).
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for precision and detail (status updates, documentation, stakeholder comms).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills – able to translate priorities into structured plans and timelines.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively surfacing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data, experience with BI tools, and Google Sheets / Excel is a plus.
- A background in project/program management or in leading cross-functional initiatives is a plus.
