Role background
Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. We are growing rapidly and soon we are launching in North Macedonia! To get there, we must first assemble a team of motivated superheroes - we are now looking for an Operations Specialist to join our team!
As our Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the supply of our Courier Partners in our region and making sure that they have everything needed in order to provide the best quality of service throughout all stages of delivery - from our restaurants & retailers to the customers.
In our Operations team, no day is the same, so you need to be self-motivated, driven to succeed, and have excellent interpersonal, and community-building skills!
What you'll be doing
- Plan & execute: Defining operational forecasts, supply plans, and application targets for your country considering both global and local knowledge, such as holidays, special events, and changing weather conditions. Aligning with other teams such as finance and procurement during bi-annual planning.
- Monitor & course-correct: Weekly and daily monitoring of KPIs and plan performance, and executing necessary corrective actions, e.g. launching referral campaigns, activating applicants to convert faster or reactivating inactive couriers
- Regularly communicate with fleet partners to update them on the required supply availability.
- Develop new initiatives and ways of working: Conducting tests and proving new improvement concepts in e.g. planning, courier acquisition, onboarding performance, courier activation
- Create and improve processes to drive operational efficiency to allow the business operations to scale efficiently.
- Support other Operations departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
