Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals or other goods from our restaurant or retail partners and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
Wolt is now available across the entire capital region, as well as in Reykjanesbær, Selfoss, and Akureyri, reaching approximately 70% of the population. We’re expanding rapidly, from our offices in Reykjavík, and now we’re looking for someone to be part of this hectic, fun, and rapid expansion and help to set up our new restaurant and retail partners for success.
As such, we need a customer-focused and structured Account Manager to onboard new restaurant and retail partners to our platform and help them flourish.

Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of around 50-70 local hero restaurant and retail partners. We’re looking for someone who has a true passion for establishing strong win-win relationships and improving key performance metrics to create results for the restaurants, the users and ultimately for Wolt. Your focus will be on making sure your partners thrive on our platform by spotting growth opportunities while providing the tools and support they need to grow.

Finally, you will be part of a ever growing internatiol company that has activbites in over 30 countries stretching from Germany to Japan.
As our new colleague, your primary focus will be:
- Collaborating to build strong and meaningful relationships with restaurant and retail partners within Iceland.
- Leading strategic renegotiations of commercial terms with restaurant partners, introducing cutting-edge Wolt products and services to expand partner offerings and increase their revenue. (i.e. Wolt+ and Wolt Drive).
- Assisting restaurant partners in achieving their goals by providing consultation on improvements, quality checks, and creative strategies. Regularly assessing partner performance, prioritizing actions to maximize impact, and develop their business with the latest trends and strategies using Looker as our BI tool.
- Getting feedback from our partners and translating it into improvement opportunities for Product, Marketing and Operations teams.
- Driving revenue growth, utilizing a data-driven approach to propel revenue growth for your restaurant partners and Wolt.
Qualifications
- Relevant Experience: Proven success in Account Management roles, with a strong commercial mindset driving growth and profitability.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is a huge plus but not a must.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of adapting dialogue and negotiations to suit diverse audiences, including restaurant owners and chefs.
- Analytical Proficiency: Ability to analyze performance metrics and business data effectively to inform decisions and improve partner relations and business outcomes.
- Structured Communication & Storytelling: Ability to convey ideas clearly, from concept to polished presentations, using data visualization to support decision-making.
- Attention to Detail and Service Orientation: Exhibit attention to detail with a commitment to delivering superior customer service.
- Initiative and Ownership: Candidates must show a high degree of initiative and the ability to operate autonomously, pushing projects beyond the initial scope without prompt.
- Languages Proficiency: English & Icelandic Fluency
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and knowledge of analytical dashboards - for example, Looker or Power BI, preferred.
