About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Are you a detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver excited to dive into the foundation of Delivery Operations at Wolt through working in the Courier Onboarding team? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that every small city has a seamless courier onboarding experience as our bigger cities? If you’re excited about scaling impact across multiple markets and being part of a highly collaborative regional team, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing
The Courier Onboarding team ensures that every new courier partner can start delivering and earning with Wolt quickly, confidently, and with a great experience, no matter the size or complexity of their city. We make sure the onboarding process runs smoothly across markets, balancing local needs with scalable, consistent operations.
As an Operations Specialist, you’ll focus on supporting smaller or more challenging cities, making sure they receive the same quality and attention as larger ones. You’ll work alongside other specialists to maintain onboarding flows, streamline communication, and improve conversion efficiency across the region.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for couriers in smaller or lower-volume cities, ensuring smooth progression from signup to ready-to-deliver.
- Collaborate closely with other onboarding specialists to standardize best practices and ensure smaller markets are supported effectively.
- Monitor funnel performance and identify opportunities for improvement in conversion or communication quality.
- Partner with Supply, Support, and Courier Experience to resolve onboarding bottlenecks and improve local readiness.
- Keep SOPs, communication templates, and guides up to date and relevant to small-city contexts.
- Use data and dashboards to track small city performance and identify where automation or AI tools could simplify work.
- Work closely with the Supply team to ensure supply in newly launched cities in the region.
- Contribute to ongoing process-improvement projects that make onboarding more scalable, efficient, and courier-friendly.
Our humble expectations
- 1–2 years of experience in operations, onboarding, CRM, or a similar function.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: you’re structured and reliable.
- Clear communicator, fluent in English (additional local languages are a plus).
- Confident working with data and tools like Google Sheets, dashboards (Looker), or CRMs (Iterable).
- Strong sense of accountability: whether it’s rolling up your sleeves to execute or running an A/B project, you follow through and deliver with quality.
- Collaborative mindset: you enjoy teamwork and supporting others to reach shared goals.
- Improvement-driven: you don’t just notice what’s not working; you find a practical way to fix it.
What we offer
- Visible impact: Your work ensures that couriers in smaller cities can start earning efficiently and confidently, and that no city or courier is left behind.
- Autonomy with support: You’ll manage your own scope while working closely with experienced peers and leads who share knowledge and best practices.
- Learning and growth: Build your expertise in operations, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple markets in the North region.
- Fast-paced environment: Every week brings new challenges and opportunities to optimize.
- Inclusive and people-first culture: We care deeply about creating a supportive workplace where trust, ownership, and teamwork drive our shared success.
