What you’ll be doing
The Fleet Account Specialist acts as the deputy to the Fleet Account Lead and is responsible for managing key and complex fleet partners. This role will step in as acting Lead when required, handle advanced negotiations, and resolve escalated operational and compliance-related cases.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing our fleet partner relationships, ensuring operational continuity, excellent performance, and full compliance with our standards. You will act as a key point of contact for both external partners and internal teams, supporting leadership, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing daily operations to guarantee reliability and efficiency.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Manage a portfolio of fleet partners, including the most complex or high-priority accounts.
- Act as Deputy to the Fleet Account Lead, ensuring leadership continuity during absences and supporting overall team management.
- Negotiate contracts, performance targets, and complex agreements with partners.
Monitor key KPIs (delivery performance, reliability, safety) and implement corrective action plans when needed. - Coordinate with the Compliance Office on identified issues and ensure full execution of corrective measures.
- Lead partner performance reviews and propose strategic improvements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance) on cross-functional initiatives.
- Cover SiMo (Simultaneous & Monitoring) shifts, organized 7 days a week, ensuring real-time monitoring of partner performance to proactively manage operational disruptions and maintain supply continuity.
Our humble expectations
- 2+ years of experience in account management, operations, logistics, or supply chain.
- Proven ability to manage complex partners and negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English is required. German and Arabic are considered a strong plus.
