Our Merchant Services team (Restaurant/Retail) is the heart and soul of Wolt. We ensure that we set all our (restaurant and retail) partners up for success by providing top tier services and supporting them around the clock. As Wolt grows in both size and scope of our offering, the strength of our Merchant Services Engine is growing with it.
As a Merchant Services Team Lead, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for handling all partner requests, queries, and operational needs, while ensuring a smooth, top-tier merchant experience. At the same time, you will be setting the team up for success, driving performance, streamlining processes, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Merchant Services Associates to deliver exceptional partner support and operational excellence.
- Partner Support & Guidance – Oversee the resolution of partner inquiries, provide guidance, and ensure additional training is delivered when needed.
- Operational Oversight – Manage day-to-day operational processes, including equipment enrollment, inventory management, contract administration, and technical issue resolution.
- Process Innovation & Best Practices – Identify opportunities for improvement, implement scalable solutions, and champion operational excellence across the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Customer Support, and other internal teams to align processes, share insights, and provide top-tier client experience.
- Project Ownership – Lead ad-hoc initiatives related to merchant operations and contribute to the overall success of the Merchant Services function.

- Operational & Project Management Experience – Skilled in overseeing processes, managing multiple priorities, and driving initiatives to completion.
- Previous experience in Sales or Customer Support roles – A strong understanding of partner-facing operations is a plus.
- Team Player – Collaborative mindset, willing to support colleagues and foster a positive team culture.
- Languages – Fluency in both Greek and English is essential for success in this role.
