🛠 Merchant Hardware Specialist (f/m/d) — German (B2+) Required
Wolt is a Finnish technology company, best known for our delivery platform that connects customers with great restaurants and shops across the city. But behind every smooth delivery experience is a team ensuring that our merchant partners are equipped with the right tools, tech, and devices — and that’s where you come in.
As a Merchant Hardware Specialist, you’ll be part of our Merchant Operations team in Germany, taking ownership of everything related to hardware support. From solving technical issues to coordinating inventory and returns, your work ensures that our merchant partners stay operational — and happy.
💡 Important: This role requires solid German skills (minimum B2, ideally C1). You’ll be supporting partners primarily in German — both in writing and over the phone.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you'll be our go-to person for all hardware-related inquiries and manage the entire lifecycle of the devices our merchant partners use.
Your day-to-day will include:

Troubleshooting hardware issues with tablets, printers, and terminals

Managing and prioritizing support tickets based on urgency and business impact

Coordinating hardware returns, shipments, and inventory tracking

Performing remote diagnostics and proactive outreach to partners

Collaborating with teams such as Logistics, Support, and Product Operations

Documenting and updating all support activities in our systems

Identifying recurring issues and suggesting improvements to our processes
What we’re looking for

2+ years of experience in hardware support, technical customer service, or a similar role
-
Working knowledge of hardware configuration, connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth), and troubleshooting

Fluency in both German (minimum B2, ideally C1) and English — written and spoken

Ability to explain technical topics clearly and understandably, even to non-technical users

Experience using support and operations tools (e.g. Intercom, Looker, Monday.com)

Structured and detail-oriented working style with a service-first mindset

Proactive attitude and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
