What’s our team?
You’ll be part of our newly formed In-Store Offers team. Our mission is to provide tooling for our Merchants to attract customers to physically dine out at their restaurants. This feature is surfaced to our customers in the form of the Wolt Out product, which was launched in May 2025 in a few major cities across Japan.
We’re at the beginning of this journey. There are many paths for our product to take and many customer problems for us to solve. We use our craft excellence to build an industry-leading experience for customers to find restaurants where they can dine out, and our wider industry knowledge to provide tooling for Merchants to help their business succeed.
As part of our team, you’ll work closely with talented engineers, product leads, and designers to deliver features to help us succeed on this mission. We’re constantly sharing ideas to improve the product—everyone contributes to shaping the direction, asking the tough questions, and challenging assumptions. We leave egos at the door and push each other to build something truly great. We’d love for you to be a part of that journey.
Our humble expectations
If you …
- Are a self-driven and experienced full-stack developer with at least 2-3 years of experience building high-quality software, familiar with modern technologies and cloud platforms.
- Know React & TypeScript, and are familiar with a backend language such as Kotlin, Go or Java.
- Enjoy building high quality & impactful e-commerce websites.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment that spans across teams and countries, and you have the autonomy, ownership, and communication skills to drive projects—whether working independently or with a team.
- Enjoy a hybrid working environment – we ask that you be based in the Tokyo area.
- Are passionate about building new products with global reach.
- Take pride in delivering high-quality products and are obsessed with product growth.
- Care about consumer pain points and don’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and get to the very bottom of issues in the name of the customer experience.
