About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, payments are an important cornerstone that keeps our platform running smoothly. Every transaction – whether from a customer, courier, or merchant – relies on a secure and efficient payment process. As we continue to grow across 31 countries, we’re looking for a Payments Back Office Analyst to join our team and help ensure our payment operations remain seamless, reliable, and optimized.
What you’ll be doing
As a Payments Back Office Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in our day-to-day payment operations. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners to maintain a world-class payments experience across all our markets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and driving operational communications with internal stakeholders and external payment partners.
- Driving the onboarding and contract workflows of new payment service providers together with Wolt’s Legal, Business and Finance teams
- Acting as a super user for payment systems, ensuring accurate setup, configuration and user accesses on an ongoing basis
- Handling ongoing KYB (Know Your Business) requests in collaboration with our payment partners.
- Monitoring and analyzing payments data to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring timely and correct settlement of funds across all markets.
- Supporting transaction settlement reconciliations and helping resolve discrepancies.
Our humble expectations
- A detail-oriented and results-driven mindset, comfortable balancing routine tasks and ad-hoc projects.
- Experience working in or with the payments industry – especially with payment service providers
- Educational background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Late-stage students may also be considered.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in another European language is a plus.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
