Working in product development at Wolt
Behind the scenes, Wolt is run by over 50 cross-functional, independent and autonomous teams, an awesome bunch of over 700+ engineers, designers, data scientists/analysts and product leads. Each team takes ownership for solving customer problems in the best possible way. We call ourselves Product+, as we’re the very core of Wolt’s products, tools and platforms.

What you’ll be doing
- Build the future of the Wolt consumer app, delivering beautifully crafted iOS experiences that serve millions globally.
- Own the full engineering lifecycle: from architecture and development to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production.
- Work on complex systems that blend customer delight with real-world responsibilities like compliance, safety, and performance.
- Collaborate daily with designers, analysts, engineers, and product leads in a high-ownership, cross-functional team.
- Shape how we build with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, all while working alongside a Motion Designer for delightful UI animations.
Our humble expectations
- At least 6 years of commercial experience with iOS development
- Swift, UIKit, Reactive Programming
- Experience with SwiftUI beneficial
- Testing ownership mindset (i.e. owning the whole cycle of development - not just developing features, but actually making sure they’re defect free, shipping them into customers’ hands)
- Production app monitoring and troubleshooting experience
- Desire to build beautiful animations (with the help of our Motion Designer)
- Experience working in multi-team development environment
- Proven ability to work independently, break down product requirements into technical tasks, and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative and clear communication style; you enjoy working across teams and disciplines.
- Bonus: Experience managing full feature delivery — including writing epics and tickets, aligning with design and PM, and seeing it through to production.
