What you'll be doing
The Developer Experience Team is part of the Core Group in our Product and Engineering Organization. The Core Group is on the mission to provide tools, services, infrastructure and knowledge aiming at a compelling internal product and engineering experience Wolt-wide.
Developer Experience (DX) refers to the day-to-day experience of all developers at Wolt, supported by the tools and processes that enable them to build great features for Wolt’s users. It is the process of empowering developers and creating an environment of utmost efficiency and productivity. Improving developer experience fosters innovation and delivers value for the 40+ engineering teams at Wolt. .
We are looking for a Team Lead passionate about creating exceptional developer experiences and maximizing development efficiency. In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps Engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative and efficient platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced team leader with a solid technical background in DevOps Engineering and a proven track record of improving developer experience and efficiency in fast-growing organizations.
As a Team Lead, you'll be an inspirer, facilitator, and enabler for the team to do what they do best by running the weekly cycle of the team, designing technical solutions, making personal development plans, hosting regular 1on1s, and taking part in recruitment. You’ll be driving the development of top-quality Build- and Deploy-Platform and communicating effectively with the Wolt Product team at large.
The ideal candidate
You are one of those unicorns, with both leadership experience and the capability to contribute hands-on.
- 👉 You have solid experience as a DevOps Engineer, designing and implementing quality build- and deploy pipelines and mastering the challenges of abstracting the infrastructure for engineers.
- 👉You have knowledge of cloud providers such as AWS and automation and provisioning tools such as Terraform and the Argo-family, Github Actions, Golang tools..
- 👉 You are able to drive a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovation within the team and the wider organization.
- 👉 Your stakeholder management skills are excellent.
- 👉 You’ll be making personal development plans and hosting regular 1on1s to support team’s growth and take part in recruitment. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential. and you shouldn’t shy away from problems, and can discuss them in a constructive manner with your team and the Wolt Product team at large.
- 👉 You’re a dedicated and pragmatic person with a positive attitude, ability to get outside of your comfort zone, and demonstrates curiosity and willingness for continuously learning.
