Job Overview
As a Sales Manager at Wolt, you will play a critical role in expanding our merchant partner network across Luxembourg. You will take full ownership of identifying, approaching, negotiating, and securing partnerships with SMB-level merchants (restaurants and retail), driving strategic growth in new and existing operational areas.
You will manage your own sales pipeline from end to end, engage directly with business owners and senior stakeholders, and influence Wolt’s market footprint. In addition to your personal sales activities, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to refining our overall sales strategy.
We are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, a proven track record of delivering results, and the ambition to grow with us.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the full sales cycle: From prospecting to lead generation, pitching, negotiating, and closing new partnerships.
- Develop and execute a local acquisition strategy to accelerate Wolt’s market penetration and revenue growth.
- Negotiate commercial terms and tailor partnership agreements based on business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SMB merchant owners, influencing key stakeholders across multiple verticals (restaurant and retail).
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and strategic wins.
- Systematically manage your pipeline through CRM tools, ensuring all sales activities are up to date.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchant Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a seamless merchant onboarding experience.
- Contribute to team development, sharing best practices and mentoring junior sales colleagues when needed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a relevant commercial role, preferably within the tech, F&B, or retail sectors.
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and close deals quickly.
- Strong analytical mindset; ability to turn data and insights into action.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to engage effectively with C-level executives, business owners, and internal teams.
- High level of self-drive and ambition, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal) is essential; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically when needed.
