About the role
We are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist – Growth & Expansion to drive city expansion and courier acquisition across 9 markets in the region. This is a highly autonomous role, blending execution with strategic planning and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring Wolt successfully expands into new cities while growing our courier partner base in collaboration with acquisition associates and the courier marketing team.
You will own the operational pillar of expansion for the region—building a playbook for launches, managing forecasting, and optimizing acquisition. A strong background in marketing operations, growth marketing, or operations generalist roles (e.g., revenue operations) will be highly valuable.
This role requires a blend of operational execution, stakeholder management, and analytical skills to ensure forecasting accuracy, efficient applicant acquisition, and seamless city launches.
What you'll be doing
Expansion & Launch Execution
- Own and execute city launches across 9 markets, ensuring seamless expansion operations.
- Develop, standardize, and implement a scalable operational expansion framework, ensuring alignment with commercial and regional strategies.
- Define and implement success criteria for city launches, ensuring operational excellence from day one.
- Work cross-functionally with Courier Marketing to align expansion with applicant growth needs.
Courier Acquisition & Forecasting
- Drive bottom-up forecasting models, challenging and improving global forecasting methodologies to ensure higher accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, shaping strategies for optimizing applicant conversion rates and improving the efficiency of courier acquisition pipelines.
- Analyze historical data, conversion trends, and operational needs to anticipate courier supply requirements.
- Work closely with Courier Marketing to align acquisition campaigns with demand fluctuations.
- Optimize the cost per acquisition, ensuring efficient budget allocation in partnership with marketing teams.
Data-Driven Strategy & Process Optimization
- Own the development of predictive modeling tools and advanced analytics dashboards in Looker and other BI platforms to proactively monitor applicant pipelines, conversion rates, and operational KPIs.
- Establish a data-driven approach to optimize expansion and acquisition strategies based on real-time insights.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Global Operations, and other teams to refine forecasting and launch planning methodologies.
- Lead regional standardization of expansion strategies, ensuring that retrospective analyses of past city launches drive continuous improvement across all markets.
Our humble expectations
- 3–5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Marketing, Revenue Operations, or Generalist Operations roles.
- Strong expertise in expansion, acquisition, and forecasting, with experience balancing these functions.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar)—ability to build dashboards, define success metrics, and extract insights.
- Ability to create bottom-up forecasts using historical conversion rates and operational trends.
- Strong stakeholder management skills—ability to align with Courier Marketing, Courier Acquisition, General Managers, and Regional Ops teams across 9 countries.
- High autonomy—able to execute independently while staying aligned with broader company objectives.
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a strong bias for action.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

For candidates based in Latvia, we offer a competitive gross monthly base salary ranging from €2,100 to €3,100 (based on a 40-hour work week). For candidates based in Lithuania, the gross monthly base salary ranges from €2,500 to €3,500. The salary is adjusted according to your qualifications and professional experience.
