Role Background

We are looking for a strategic and motivated Global Facility Manager to lead and unify our facility maintenance standards across 20+ countries for our Wolt Market operations, spanning from Sweden to Kazakhstan. This role will be responsible for optimizing global facility operations, driving efficiency through innovative tools and technologies, and managing the global facility budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.

What you’ll be doing

Strategic Leadership

  • Own and manage the global facility budget, driving cost savings and resource optimization while maintaining high service levels.
  • Identify and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance facility management efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including real estate, procurement, finance, and operations teams, to align facility management strategies with overall business goals.
    Ensure compliance with local and global facility management regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead crisis management and business continuity planning for facilities globally together with our safety and security teams.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized facility maintenance protocols across all markets to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to achieve optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of facility operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Our humble expectations

  • Proven experience in global facility management, real estate operations, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in budget management and cost optimization at a multinational level.
  • Experience in implementing facility management technologies and automation tools.
  • Ability to manage facilities across different geographies with varied regulatory environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
