About the Team
Our Finance team builds the financial infrastructure to scale and accelerate the growth of our business. We combine analytical and strategic thinking in partnership with teams across the company to improve our business model. We partner across the business to efficiently grow, delivering financial predictability, business accountability and insights to optimize decisions and resourcing. We’re looking to hire strategic thinkers who can solve complex problems and collaborate effectively to carry projects from inception through execution.
About the Role
The financial system developer will serve as subject matter expert of our financial planning system, IBM Planning Analytics, supporting the Wolt finance team. This includes daily support of Wolt / Europe finance user group, troubleshooting, system configuration and user training. Additionally, the candidate will follow the guidance of the solution architect and enhance our IBM Planning Analytics, and is accountable for full lifecycle system development.
We expect this role to be local in Germany remote with occasional office visits as needed. European candidate is preferred. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to provide day to day support to our European business partners.
You will report into the Senior Manager on our Financial System team in our finance organization.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Serve as subject matter expert for our financial planning tool, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Build trusted relationships with key business partners and Finance / Accounting
- Gain a deep understanding of business needs and translate into solution
- Maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environments for planning models, cubes, rules, dimensions, reporting, and data integration
- Provide system maintenance, patches/upgrades, and migration support under solution architect guidance
- Ensure Production environment stability and performance are up to par
- Troubleshoot and provide day-to-day finance user supports and trainings as needed
- Create or maintain system process and user training documentations
- Provide timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects
We’re excited about you because…
- Have a minimum 3+ years of experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Have good knowledge of PAX, TM1 server maintenance, and TM1 Administration.
- Experience with building ad-hoc reports, quick reports, excel reports, and any dynamic reports.
- Experience with PAW or workspace.
- Experience in interfering with finance users and business partners.
- The candidate shall have a good understanding of full lifecycle development that entails the analysis, design and development.
