As our Manager, People Technology, you will be at the forefront of driving technological advancements within Workday with your team, spearheading the configuration, development, and enhancement of Workday core functionalities and automation. You lead the team and ensure end-to-end delivery of Workday development and maintenance as part of People Tech strategy and objectives at Wolt. You’ll proactively co-develop and enhance the People Tech maturity and keep Workday in the frontline for technical developments. Further, you’ll act as advisor to your direct report(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Expect the role to be hands-on in participating, developing and configuring solutions by yourself and with the team, as well as strategizing about wider topics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Wolt’s Workday team for your own responsibility areas
- Lead the configuration and development of Workday in People Tech, with a focus in close collaboration with stakeholders and People Tech team
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability of people processes, while elevating user experience for Team Leaders and people at Wolt
- Manage and actively contribute to projects, aligning with the People tech roadmap to ensure successful execution
- Oversee development sprints, ensuring the timely delivery of enhancements within your own domain
- Contribute and conduct the training for Workday as part of the People Tech training approach and practices with your team
- Provide Workday application service management as part of the People Tech service management practices
- Play a pivotal role in system implementation, including configuration, rigorous testing and successful deployment
- Lead the Workday releases within your own domain, closely aligning with the People Tech team and other stakeholders
- Participate and elevate HR reporting and analytics capabilities development, leveraging own expertise to unlock the full potential of HR data and develop Workday team to advanced reporting capabilities
- Contribute proactively to the overall development and innovation initiatives of the People Tech team
- Foster collaborative relationships and drive end-to-end solutions
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in Workday for HR functionalities
- Experience and configuration skills from several Workday functional areas and / or deep understanding of integrations
- Strong understanding of core people processes, capable of translating process designs into impactful system configurations and automation
- In-depth familiarity with user-centric design principles and modern HR process design, ensuring exceptional end-user experiences
- Proficiency in HR reporting and analytics, including advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage and extract insights from large datasets
- Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English
- Problem-solving attitude, proactive approach and a demonstrated ability to network and take initiative
- Strong organizational skills, adaptation at managing requirements and prioritizing projects.
- Previous experience in project leadership roles using various project models
- High self-leadership skills and interpersonal competencies
