Role background
We're now looking for an energetic Team Lead driven by results to support and lead our awesome SMB Sales team with a focus on the Restaurant segment who will take ownership of growing Wolt’s restaurant portfolio by identifying, negotiating, closing and developing strategic partnerships with SMB level Restaurant partners.
In this role you will engage in medium-complex business-level, logistic and P&L-focused discussions with owners and C-level executives, you will need to be comfortable using data, insights and versatile enough to hold your own in operations, marketing and technical conversations.
Moreover, you will have the opportunity to showcase your entrepreneurial flair and collaborate across several teams/functions including our product, merchant and marketing teams to build a winning proposition. We have a great base to start from, your focus will be to help us build up on and scale this in the local market.
Responsibilities & duties
- Creating a positive work environment that enables the team to develop.
- Lead by example in terms of demonstrating Wolt values and behaviors.
- Actively participate in refining the local sales strategy to accelerate Wolt’s market penetration.
- Making sound business decisions by supporting intuition with data, such as understanding store performance in order to set profitable business terms.
- Work closely with Wolt leadership and cross-functional teams (Product, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Support and others) to build a winning proposition for the market.
- Identify and implement suitable OKR’s for the local Sales Team
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to help the team grow and develop.
Skills & Experience required
- Proven success as a Sales team lead with experience of solution sales, business development and negotiation.
- Strong leadership skills and positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have strong analytical, financial and commercial acumen with instinct for the right opportunities, comfortable presenting to Merchant owners/Director/VP/CXO-level stakeholders
- You are an excellent communicator and natural relationship builder, skilled at generating buy-in and building followership with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills - such as translating data into actions, or analyzing sales metrics and producing relevant KPIs.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
