We are looking for a Product Designer to join Wolt’s Merchant Mission!
As the international side of Doordash business, Wolt is active in 29+ countries outside of the US and growing.
The Merchant Group focuses on making Wolt an integral part of our Merchants’ daily lives in all the 25 countries Wolt is active in. We provide our business partners with tools and automations that are useful, efficient, reliable, and delightful to use.
This role is perfect for a designer who excels in creating tangible, impactful experiences within ambiguous problem spaces. As a design expert in creating delightful interactive experiences and visually stunning interfaces for complex tools, you will inspire the organization through prototyping and storytelling to ensure the final work has maximized impact.
In this role, you’ll craft our tools for business partners to manage their deliveries as well as influence the experience for consumers. Together with functional & cross-functional partners, you’ll create delightful, business-oriented products that empower our wide range of business partners to success. Our products are built around self-service, which helps us keep trust at the core of our partner relationships.

We’re excited about you because:
- You have 5+ years of experience in designing consumer, technical or SaaS products, so you understand what it takes to create elegant, business-oriented experiences within complex problem spaces.
- You are a versatile t-shaped designer who is especially strong in visual design & prototyping. Successfully tackling problems in this space means crafting high-quality experiences alongside a cross-functional team.
- You think in systems. In this role, you’ll craft experiences for consumers, couriers, and businesses, so understanding the bigger picture and the impact of actions across journeys and experiences is crucial.
- You are a creative problem solver. Ambiguous and thorny problems inspire you to resolve them with clear, effective solutions that inspire delight. Thinking outside the box to propose solutions in this space will lead you to success.
- You’re resilient to feedback. Building new experiences with a cross-functional team means sharing work-in-progress early and often. The ability to take constructive feedback in stride is crucial.
- You enjoy collaborating and communicating across different functions, and comfortable working with stakeholders from operational to technical teams through your day-to-day interactions. Storytelling, and communication design come naturally, and you can inspire teams towards action and empathy for the user, working towards a shared vision and embracing opportunities for improvement.

- We listen carefully. The better we understand our users’ problems the better our solutions can be. It’s important for us to know we are solving for real people and not just the loudest voice in the room.
- We love to collaborate. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
- We own the problem space. You’ll provide the thought leadership to inspire and develop the right design direction. Together, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that live up to Wolt-grade and delight our users.
- We begin with magic and work backwards. Imagine the way forward. You’ll establish a vision of the product area first, then work backward to make every step of the way a feasible reality with your team.
