At Wolt, design is at the heart of everything we ship. It’s in our DNA to craft delightful, finessed experiences for all our users. Our mission is to craft products that our users love to adopt into their daily lives.
Our designers support our teams with everything from choosing the right areas to develop and building new concepts – all the way through to the finer details that can turn a good experience into a great one.
While embedded in our cross-functional product development teams, our designers are also part of our wider design community at Wolt.

How we design
Our vision — the whole city, delivered
Our vision is big — the whole city, delivered within minutes. Essentially, we’re building a mall in your pocket. We started with the food court on the top floor, and have since expanded to groceries on the ground floor along with all the other shops, stores and boutiques in the middle.
To build this we’re connecting three parties: our customers, courier partners and merchants. Seamlessly and in real-time. In product design we craft great, usable experiences for all our customer groups, as well as internal teams at Wolt.
Customer delight reimagined
We obsess over details and usability. While we move fast, we always make sure to take time to polish the finer details of the user experience.
Whether it’s through user research, animation or digging into the data, we always focus on creating meaningful, loveable user experiences. And that’s why we’re humbled, yet proud to say our customers give us the best ratings in the industry with 4.8/5 on App Store and 4.6 on Google Play*.

Designing for millions
Designing for millions means everyone in the team has an impact. We design products for millions of users, tens of thousands of courier partners and thousands of merchants, as well as thousands of internal customers at Wolt.
Each user group has their own app, and it’s our job to make sure it makes the user’s life easier and their journey with Wolt delightful.

We value autonomy and ownership — you’re trusted to do the right thing here. As embedded members of product teams, our designers are involved in the full life-cycle of product development.
We respect each other’s ideas, opinions and expertise. Together we aim high, but stay humble and help each other out.
Inside our Product Design team
Understanding our users is key to building products that fit their needs. Our UX researchers engage with our various user groups to thoroughly understand their needs and collect insights that help us drive our products into the right direction.
Our product designers are problem solvers. They truly shine in simplifying complex systems, designing thoughtful, polished user experiences that are grounded in real-world use cases and business needs. In tight collaboration with our cross-functional product development teams, our Product Designers turn high-level concepts into production quality designs – ensuring world-class execution of our vision.
Our content designers create consistently delightful experiences through a clear, concise, and human tone of voice.
Our motion designers breathe life into our products through the magic of motion. They ensure we stay on top of our game, keeping our user experience at a world-class level.
