Technical Program Manager (CRM Integrations)
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to help scale Wolt engineering, enhance process efficiency, and uphold our commitment to operational excellence. This role is pivotal, placing you at the core of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering outstanding results. As a Technical Program Manager, you will facilitate collaboration between business, product, and engineering teams. Your primary goals include driving technical programs that span multiple teams, defining and tracking key performance metrics, proactively communicating status and risks, and ensuring alignment on priorities.
The scope is broad, and the responsibilities run deep. The role requires wide technical understanding, world-class program management skills, a strong will to win hearts and minds, top-notch orchestration, and the cultural approach and attitude to make it all happen.
The Technical Program Manager is data driven, passionate about the craft of software engineering, a jack/jill of all trades and a master of some. They advocate for complex technical programs across the organization, ensuring alignment and influencing without authority. They define, groom, facilitate, and ultimately own the technical programs they are running.
This role will be based in Berlin (preferably), Helsinki or Stockholm, with flexible office or home-based work opportunities.
The main responsibilities include:
- Owning cross-organizational technical programs
- Running technical initiatives across teams, groups and business units, ensuring alignment with requirements and business objectives.
- Deep dive into unclear areas, identify the underlying problems, and guides teams in developing scalable solutions
- Managing stakeholders in engineering, product, legal, sales, operations and account management teams
- Acting as a catalyst, significantly increasing the efficiency of product, engineering and business teams working together
Helping to run engineering at scale
- Working with various internal teams, engineering, product and business leaders to define key technical initiatives
- Building alignment with team and organizational roadmaps to include key initiatives, define priorities, and ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations and internal policies.
- Identifying key metrics and making sure they are up-to-date and have escalation or remediation plans in place if they exceed guardrails
- Building business-driven cases for technical programs to advocate and prioritize them across the organization
Making the complex simple
- Deciding and navigating through ambiguity while providing clarity for everyone in the organization
- Codifying key processes, architectures, and choices
- Constantly improving how we run technical programs
- Supporting teams in building the right things in the right ways
Our humble expectations
We seek candidates with strong prior experience in a similar role within an agile environment, combined with technical expertise. Exceptional project management and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience managing CRM programs is preferred.
