iOS Engineer | Consumer Engagement | Promotions

We are looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Promotions engineering team. Our Promotions team is on a mission to empower internal marketers, external merchants, and enterprise brands to manage promotional campaigns effectively, driving growth and engagement across the Wolt platform.

As an iOS Engineer in the Promotions team, your role is to implement and contribute to the development of our beautifully designed consumer app. You will be at the forefront of the Wolt promotions experience, building features that impact millions of users by enabling seamless campaign management and optimized promotional experiences.

You’ll work closely with our designer, analyst, product lead, and fellow engineers as we balance our efforts to grow our promotions business at a high speed while maintaining engineering excellence. You will be involved in building and supporting promotional surfaces throughout the entire iOS consumer app, ensuring both internal and external stakeholders can efficiently launch, track, and manage promotions. You will also have ownership of quality assurance and solidifying our telemetry logic to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

We prefer hybrid work mode - once per week in the office in Helsinki.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong experience in building iOS apps (minimum 5 years of experience as a developer, 1 year as a leader) using modern technologies and the latest iOS platform features. Our codebase is predominantly in Swift, so you should feel at home with the language. You are also familiar with SwiftUI and some of the newest advancements in the iOS ecosystem. You need to be completely comfortable to hold the project by yourself and have strong attention to details.

Quality is at the core of everything we do—from crafting user interfaces to maintaining scalable architectures and writing maintainable source code. You should have experience with testing processes and be comfortable implementing automated unit & UI testing while collaborating with our excellent QA engineers to prevent regressions.

Additionally, we value strong communication skills and experience working in a multi-team development environment. Since knowledge sharing is a key part of our culture, you should enjoy participating in regular meetups to learn from others and share your own experiences.
