As a Merchant Logistics Associate, you’ll be acting as a key factor in onboarding, managing and coordinating devices for our new and existing partners in giving them a unique Wolt experience. You will be closely working together with the restaurant and retail onboarding team to prepare our partners' devices, manage the inventory and ensure month-on-month product availability.
As such, we need a strong hands-on self-starter, to drive the inventory and devices of new and existing partners.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare Hardware for new and existing Wolt merchants in Germany.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy between received items and ordered invoices.
- Scan and update inventory items using our management system, maintaining precise records of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks to uphold consistent product availability.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for production and proactively prepare for peak periods.
- Efficiently arrange items and equipment for a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
- Perform physical tasks involving lifting, moving, and handling inventory.
Our humble expectations*
- Previous experience in inventory management and warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with supply chain operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency with technical tools is beneficial.
- Hands-on mentality, adept at maintaining composure in stressful situations, and always ready to take initiative.
- Self-motivated, comfortable adapting to changing demands, priorities, or procedures.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Nice to haves:
This role seeks an individual with a background in logistics/warehouse and a proactive approach to managing inventory while ensuring operational efficiency within a dynamic workspace.
