Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. Since launching in Denmark in 2017, Wolt has become a go-to platform for food and retail delivery in over 60 cities. With more than 5,000 restaurants and retail store partners, we’re on a mission to build the most trusted and efficient merchant ecosystem in the country. To support that mission, we’re hiring a Merchant Success Specialist, who will help us grow the portfolio in a smooth and scalable way.
As a Merchant Success Specialist, you take ownership of merchant self-service tool adoption and merchant communication to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are knowledgeable about and motivated to use tools effectively and independently. The role is part of a 10-team member strong Merchant Operations team and sits in the intersection of merchant success, merchant operations, merchant communication, and support enablement, to help reduce manual workloads while boosting merchant satisfaction.
You'll be responsible for optimizing our self-service ecosystem through proactive merchant outreach, internal training initiatives, and tight coordination with local and global stakeholders. In addition to this, you’ll own merchant communication efforts across the Danish portfolio — segmenting audiences, copywriting outbound mass-communication, aligning cross-functional messaging, and ensuring timely and relevant outreach that supports adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.
Your insights and initiatives will directly shape how Wolt empowers merchants, fosters long-term engagement, and streamlines operations at scale.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive self-service tool adoption through continuous improvement and execution of engagement initiatives.
- Own merchant communication segmentation and execution, ensuring cross-team alignment on messaging and timing.
- Upskill support teams by co-leading scalable training focused on merchant education and ticket reduction.
- Support ad-hoc projects, including new feature rollouts and implementations.
- Share best practices and proactively challenge the status quo.

- Fluent in Danish and English for effective partner communication and content creation.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new tools—able to train others to do the same.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for precision and detail.
- Excellent at turning strategy into action through strong time management and organization.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Monday.
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with a strong data focus; experience with BI tools and Excel is a plus.
- Professional background in communications, customer-facing roles, business operations, or project management is a plus.
