Job Description

Wolt Drive is Wolt’s Delivery-as-a-Service solution, enabling merchants to offer fast and reliable deliveries for orders placed through their own channels (outside of the Wolt app).

We are building a business within the business and are looking for a highly driven and strategic professional to help scale this new vertical. We have big plans, so we need someone who takes full ownership, enjoys building something from the ground up. If you have a builder mentality, strong commercial acumen, and a hands-on approach to driving cross-functional initiatives, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

As Business Development Manager, Wolt Drive, you will scale Wolt Drive in Germany by driving adoption among new and existing partners while also enabling internal teams and processes to support its growth. This is a high-impact role, requiring a mix of strategic thinking, account management, and cross-functional project management to operationalize Wolt Drive. You will work closely with Product, Operations, Support, Analytics, and Marketing, as well as our Restaurant and Retail teams, to drive alignment and execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive market expansion – Identify, secure, and launch strategic partnerships with businesses that can benefit from Wolt Drive.
  • Own, scale, and manage key partnerships – Act as the trusted advisor to merchants, ensure a smooth onboarding, adoption, and long-term success with Wolt Drive.
  • Lead strategic projects and stakeholder management – Work cross-functionally to align Product, Sales, Operations, and other teams in scaling efficiently.
  • Build and improve internal enablement – Establish processes, frameworks, and best practices that allow other teams (e.g. Account Management, Sales, Support) to implement Wolt Drive at scale.
  • Lead complex negotiations and deal-making – Structure commercial agreements that create long-term value.
  • Leverage data to drive decision-making – Develop insights, track key performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations to accelerate growth. 
  • Collaborate with integrators and tech teams – Partner with key integration providers to expand Wolt Drive’s reach and relevance.

Our humble expectations

  • Fluent/Native German and excellent English skills (written & spoken).
  • > 4yrs experience in business development, consultative sales or strategic partnerships, ideally within SaaS, marketplaces, eCommerce, or last-mile logistics.
  • Track record in empathetically managing and influencing stakeholders across different teams, from C-level executives to internal commercial and operational teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset – able to break down complex challenges, connect the dots, and execute on both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Project and stakeholder management experience – coordinating multiple workstreams across teams, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and building things from scratch.
