Wolt Capital Manager
Our company Wolt Financial Solutions Services (WFS) is a dynamic organization specializing in payment and financial services for our parent company Wolt, a prominent platform marketplace, and Wolt’s customers. WFS currently manages all merchant payment flows across over 20 markets, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML, safeguarding customer funds, and maintaining robust internal controls. As a licensed and supervised payment and e-money institution, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency in our operations.
As we continue to expand Wolt Capital – our fast-growing financing solution now live in 18 markets for Wolt’s merchant partners – we’re seeking a mid-level Strategy & Operations Manager to help scale and optimize our financial service offering. Reporting to the Head of Financial Services, this role will play a critical part in executing our fintech strategy and delivering high-impact initiatives across multiple markets.
The ideal candidate is analytical, pragmatic, collaborative, and excited to contribute to the growth of one of Wolt’s most innovative verticals.
What you'll be doing
- Drive key initiatives across Wolt Capital by combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Own and improve processes to ensure scalable and efficient delivery of our financing products.
- Analyze business performance and generate insights that inform product development, market prioritization, and operational improvements.
- Manage go-to-market plans in partnership with local teams, ensuring successful rollout and adoption of financing products.
- Identify growth opportunities, design new programs, and support go-to-market strategies across our markets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders – Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Finance – to align roadmaps and ensure delivery readiness.
- Manage relationships with external partners in co-operation with Product colleagues.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows to ensure scalability, efficiency, and strong user experience.
- Contribute to business planning, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Our humble expectations
Skills:
- Proven experience in strategy, operations, product, or analytics roles – ideally in fintech, marketplace, or tech-driven businesses.
- Strong analytical mindset – confident working with data to drive decisions and business outcomes.
- Clear, structured communicator with a collaborative, low-ego approach to problem solving.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong can-do attitude – no task is too small or too complex.
- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders across time zones and functions.
- Understanding of financial services, lending products, or payment systems is a plus.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from zero to one.
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in high-performance environments such as tech, consulting, fintech, or operations.
- Strong analytical skills – you’re comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A bias for action – you can turn ideas into impact quickly and pragmatically.
- A team player who’s humble, curious, and excited to build.
- Strong track record of delivering impact in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
