We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join our subscription (Wolt+) team, which owns the results, strategy and development of Wolt+ globally and is building the best local commerce membership program in the markets we operate in.
You will be responsible globally for
- Owning strategy and execution for our high-stakes strategic Wolt+ partnerships,
- doing whatever it takes to reach both our financial and operational goals related to long-term success of our partners and
- owning the relationships between our partners, ensuring a growing & succesful win-win relationships.
To get the job done, you’ll work both with our wider Wolt+ team and other cross-functional teams in the domains of Business Development, Marketplace, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing and Finance, while taking full ownership of driving your initiatives to fruition and most importantly tangible results.

Our team is responsible for driving growth and profitability of our subscription program. Your day-to-day job will consist of a wide range of activities that contribute to meeting those targets.
What you'll be doing
- Craft the short and long-term strategy for Wolt+ partnerships that will with high scalability enable faster growth and higher value proposition of our membership program globally
- Be on the point from Wolt+ team to progress net new partner negotiations in collaboration with our Business Development and Marketplace teams
- Manage the partner relationships for our existing partners, fostering the relationship, identifying new growth opportunities, and liasing with our internal teams to make these new growth bets a reality
- Lead cross-team efforts to enable new partnerships or to seize further growth opportunities from existing deals in close collaboration with internal stakeholders in regional and central teams
- Track and own key performance indicators in the domain and, where necessary, drive correction actions. This might be by pulling short-term levers with our marketing team or forming up long-term product-driven features to solve for underlying drivers.
- Collaborate with General Managers and their teams to ensure our subscription partnership execution is aligned with local strategy and competitive landscape across the 25+ markets where we operate in
- Keep a close eye on our customer experience and how it compares to peers and e-commerce benchmarks with the aim to identify improvement opportunities and ensuring we’re the leading alternative from consumers’ perspective
Our humble expectations:
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferably in: strategic business development, subscriptions and loyalty programs or strategy & operations in a top tier tech/platform company/management consulting
- Problem-solving skills: our team is in the business of solving hard problems and developing new solutions. There’s rarely a handbook that we can refer to. Hence, you need to be ingenious and relentless at solving hairy business problems, not just in the abstract but also on the lowest level of detail
- People & project management skills: you’ll need to be able to inspire and persuade internal and external stakeholders from a broad spectrum of backgrounds in a cross-team setting and get them to work towards one goal in a coordinated, collaborative and efficient manner
- Drive, ownership and independence: you’ll be given a lot of responsibility and freedom in terms of how to get stuff done. In exchange, you’ll need to be comfortable and effective at being in the driver’s seat in your initiatives.
- Analytical skills: you’ll work with data every single day so spreadsheet mastery is a must-have. As we have data on almost anything available, you’ll need to be comfortable to drive data driven decision making by distilling the key insights out of it.
- Business acumen and eye for superb user experience: you’ll need to be able to see the forest for the trees and have good intuition about what works best for our customers to ensure that we focus on solving the right problems and solve them in the right way.
