Wolt Drive is “delivery-as-a-service” and the fastest way to get any online purchases delivered to the doorstep - providing an affordable ultra fast last mile delivery option for businesses as well as consumers. We believe that every business - small or large - should be able to connect with their customers instantly and we will provide the logistics power to do so. We are already live in 27+ markets and rapidly scaling - now it is time to take our growth to the next level and bring our service to even more partners.
Role Background
In order to scale our business, we pilot and test many new ways of working with partners, co- developing services and generally are very partner centric in our approach to win and continue growing the business. As the Commercial Business Developer you are expected to be a key owner for regional and global deals & accounts, being the creative push to make a deal happen and bring both internal and external stakeholders together to ensure strong execution across the lifecycle of the deal (integration, pilot, rollout, scale-up, evaluation, improvement, and growth). In order to succeed in this role you will not only have to learn from each deal, extract insights and best practices but also ensure we further build and scale sound deal and account management practices across markets in close collaboration with our local teams.
Our humble expectations
- You have 5+ years of experience. You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience), and you have a proven track record in complex deal making, managing strategic accounts and structuring win-win partnerships
- Ability to drive change yourself, being very hands on, but also through others - rallying together global & local commercial teams to win and grow strategic deals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. You’ll be working at a rapid pace with 27+ country teams across several time zones -- it’s not easy ;-)
- You’re unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments
- You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
