About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Merchant Services to take full ownership and drive our onboarding operations in Germany. This is a senior position requiring a highly skilled and seasoned professional. This role requires a strong focus on onboarding, as well as managing data validation and offboarding teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple teams and ensuring our merchant partners have a world-class experience.
Key responsibilities:
Team leadership:
Lead and manage the onboarding, data validation, and offboarding teams
Ensure team members are well-supported, motivated, and trained
Drive team development and hiring to ensure business continuity and fulfill SLAs
Operational management:
Take ownership of forecasting, KPI monitoring, and management reporting
Ensure efficient and high-quality onboarding processes for new restaurant and retail partners across Germany
Drive the end-to-end onboarding process, coordinating with various sub-processes and teams
Work interdisciplinary and drive other teams to achieve operational excellence
Implement and push for improvements in efficiency and quality
Expertise and process improvement:
Serve as the expert for all onboarding- and offboarding-related topics
Lead new projects aimed at improving efficiency and quality within the on- and offboarding processes
Ensure all processes are handled effectively and partners have a seamless and positive experience
Foster an operational excellence mindset and implement best practices

Key qualifications:
Proven experience in a managerial role within onboarding or merchant services
Strong leadership and organizational skills with a track record of managing and motivating teams
Expertise in onboarding processes and/or managing merchant services, and driving operational excellence
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to implement efficient changes
Proficiency in project management, teaching and developing the team, and experience with automations
Skilled in working with ticket systems, driving KPIs such as speed and quality, and data analytics for managers, including creating and reading dashboards, pivot tables, and project management plans
Analytical mindset with the ability to build own reports, analyze root causes, and determine key priorities
