About the Role
Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we've been best known for our food delivery platform. However, food delivery was just the start. We don't want just to satisfy our customers' hunger, but to deliver a wide variety of products and expand our platform to some cool retail shops, supermarkets, flowers, toys, and other exciting products, all referred to as Retail.
As a result of Wolt’s rapid expansion and the plans we have for 2026, we are in search of a Retail Account Management Team. Reporting to the Head of Retail CZ/SVK, the Team Lead is the account manager of our key retail partners, while leading the local Prague team through encouragement and empowerment. The AM TL is responsible for optimizing venue performance on our platform and driving revenue growth.
What you’ll be doing
Day-to-day in this role you’ll be:
- Driving and managing the growth of our current partners by improving venue performance with strong analysis and high-level consultation.
- Managing the relationship and performance of the retail portfolio to ensure mutual value is created for both retail partners, courier partners, customers, and Wolt.
- Conducting weekly performance reviews of the region/city and team’s assessment of progress against goals.
- Using your analytical competencies to dissect merchant data and identify improvement areas.
- Testing how to work with retail partners at scale, evaluating results, and building seamless processes to make sure you and your team structure your work efficiently and create results.
- Re-negotiating the general terms and conditions of key partners.
- Ensuring the success of your team by setting targets, sparring, coaching, managing their efforts, and whatever else it takes.
- Ensuring the well-being of the team and fostering a positive work environment that enables team development.
- Recruiting new talented Account Managers for your team.
Our humble expectations
- Work experience: You have a solid track record as a Business Manager or as an Account Manager
- Leadership experience: Proven history of team management, you know how to motivate, coach, and educate team members to reach their full potential.
- Analytics: You have the ability to ‘think big’ as well as execute ‘on-the-fly’ via understanding the dynamics behind the business through your analysis of large data sets.
- Project management: You know how to manage internal as well as external stakeholders, and how to implement projects in a structured and logical manner.
- Effective communication: Outstanding interpersonal and business skills. Able to quickly establish gravitas and credibility with a range of stakeholders.
- Fluent in Czech and English
