We’re on the lookout for a Junior System Administrator to join our high-performing IT team in Finland. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is passionate about using AI and automation to improve IT systems and business workflows.
As part of our EMEA IT team, you’ll support and improve the core tools that power Wolt’s business operations. From tackling daily escalations to enabling complex business projects and automation initiatives, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our tech ecosystem robust, secure, and scalable. You’ll work closely with colleagues in IT, security, HR, and finance to ensure that our systems run efficiently, and that we’re continuously improving how we work.
What you’ll be doing
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Leverage AI to a maximum intent to drive solutions and technology
- Contribute to AI-driven innovation across IT workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Glean.
- Manage, maintain and enhance a wide array of enterprise business tools used across Wolt.
- Handle daily escalations from the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior team members to implement new tools, system migrations, and integrations.
- Design and implement process automations using modern scripting tools and APIs
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to build scalable, secure solutions.
Our humble expectations
- A passion for AI and its practical applications in workplace efficiency and systems design.3–5 years of experience in system administration or enterprise IT support roles.
- Proven experience managing and configuring enterprise platforms (beyond daily usage).
- Cross culture and cross time zone work, our colleagues are located in a variety of time-zone, which might require calls between 16:00 and 18:00, and more seldom evening calls.
- IT change process understanding
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and reliably under minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and languages (e.g. Python, YAML, Terraform) are a big plus
- Familiarity with tools like Atlassian, Google, Okta, GitHub are a plus.
