As Senior Associate in the Finance & Strategy team, you will ensure that the senior management both in the central functions and country operations receives timely and accurate analysis of our business. You will be a key contributor in supporting our growth story reaching new heights by providing business insights to our management, as well as developing our management reporting and forecasting processes. In this role you will have the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how business control processes are built in a global, fast-growing technology company. As you gain more experience and show stellar performance in the role, you will get the chance to take on even more challenging duties as a finance business partner depending on your own aspirations. The preferred location for this role is Helsinki.
The role you are supporting Wolt Market - our very own grocery stores that deliver unprecedented convenience and world leading customer experience. People across 21 countries can order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at lightspeed! With Wolt Market, our focus is to find the right products by being customer oriented, offering the fastest delivery available and being the company that changes the future of grocery shopping. Your Team
At Wolt, the Finance & Strategy team plays a critical role in ensuring our top management—both centrally and in the countries where we operate—has timely, accurate, and insightful information for decision-making. We partner closely with stakeholders to not only support but also challenge them to optimize all areas of the business.
Our team is responsible for Wolt’s management reporting, P&L analysis, forecasting & budgeting, and the development of planning systems. Our stakeholders include investors, executive leadership, country and functional leads, and the wider finance organization of which we are an integral part.
We pride ourselves on being a data-driven company—analysis and numbers are part of our DNA. Everyone, including our CEO, regularly works with data. In this context, your role will be key in driving business insights and decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and further develop Wolt's weekly and monthly management reporting, business reviews, and forecasting processes, with a focus on Wolt Market, our in-house supermarket business.
- Collaborate closely with country and business line management to support their decision-making with clear reporting, data-driven analysis, and actionable insights.
- Improve and evolve forecasting methods and planning logic to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and systems to enhance financial follow-up and performance tracking.
Our humble expectations
- 4+ years of experience in business control, finance business partnering, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong skills in data analysis and working with large datasets. High attention to detail and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are essential. Knowledge of SQL and Looker is a plus.
- Solid financial acumen, with a strong grasp of how the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement interrelate.
- Experience in FMCG is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand business needs and communicate effectively, including with senior leaders in an international setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to work in E.U.
