We’re excited to be hiring for a Senior E-Commerce Manager - CPG Partnerships to join our Wolt Ads team! In this role, you’ll take the lead in building and managing relationships with CPG brands and advertisers. It’s a sales-driven position, with a strong focus on identifying and introducing advertising and promotional opportunities on the Wolt platform. Remember, it is still fairly new to the Hungarian market so you really need to build it (almost) from the scratch! We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of the CPG and/or advertising industry, who brings a strategic mindset and a strong drive to close deals.
What you'll be doing
- Market Education: Educate CPG partners on the value of investing in Wolt Ads. As this platform is still emerging in the market, your role will be critical in demonstrating its potential for driving customer engagement and business growth.
- Ads & Promo Activation: Help our partners bring value to Wolt users through targeted ads and promotional campaigns. You'll lead the commercialization and rollout of new ad features as the product evolves.
- Joint Business Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with CPG partners to develop joint business plans that deliver mutual success - for Wolt, the brands, and our customers. In a fast-changing industry, creativity and adaptability are key.
- Execute Plans in Details: Our team likes to get its hands dirty. You’ll work closely with local teams and our global ads operations teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly: from ensuring product availability on our shelves to validating that marketing campaigns are set up and running as planned.
- Market Insight & Data-Driven Analysis: We have industry-leading first-party data on billions of transactions, stored on Snowflake databases accessed via Looker. Leverage market knowledge and data analytics to create actionable dashboards, KPIs, and insights for our business partners.
Our humble expectations
- Independent & Entrepreneurial Mindset: You’ll be the only person in Hungary to focus on CPG Partnerships, so you must thrive in an autonomous role while collaborating closely with teams such as Marketing, Wolt Market, and Account Management.
- 3-5 years of Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven success in building long-term partnerships and navigating complex sales cycles, ideally with global or regional CPG brands.
- Languages Proficiency: Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Industry Knowledge: Having a good understanding of the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and e-commerce, platform industry is key . Experience in the Ads industry is a major plus.
- Presentation & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations effectively to C-level executives Analytical Skills: ability to leverage data to uncover trends, generate insights, and inform strategic decision-making.Other: Eligible to work in the country where the job is posted and willing to travel when necessary.
