At Wolt, our IT-Automations team is on a mission to elevate how over 10,000+ employees experience technology every day. As a Senior Software Engineer, IT Automation, you'll be at the forefront of this movement—designing innovative tools, streamlining workflows, and crafting scalable solutions that make work feel effortless. You’ll collaborate across IT and the wider business to imagine and implement automation systems that empower our people to do their best work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Create powerful automation experiences by designing, building, and deploying applications that drive employee life cycle management.

Engineer and evolve our proprietary automation engine and internal full-stack applications.

Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Wolt to understand needs and build solutions that simplify their daily work.

Document and support your work with clear instructions and ongoing knowledge sharing.

Continuously refine and upgrade existing systems to stay ahead of scaling demands.

Proactively hunt for opportunities to improve employee workflows through smart automation.

Partner deeply with IT teams to ensure every tech touch point exceeds expectations.
What We’re Looking For

A strong software engineering foundation, with 7+ years of experience in building and maintaining production-grade systems.

Fluency in Python, FastAPI, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and similar technologies.

A natural curiosity for automation—you're always testing new tools and keeping an eye on the latest trends.

A problem-solving mindset—you’re the kind of person who doesn’t stop until a solution is found.

Clear, professional communication skills and fluency in English.

A team player with initiative and resilience—you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Willingness to travel when the job calls for it.
