Job Description
Wolt is looking to expand its Security team, and we’re hiring a Global Safety Specialist to help create and promote an even safer working environment. You’ll be part of the Security team, addressing all of Wolt’s safety and security needs.
This role focuses on ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all Wolt and Wolt Market employees by providing the necessary information, tools, and guidance to empower our teams. A key part of the role will be driving a unified, international approach to safety and security across all Wolt locations. The position is based in Finland and involves occasional travel to other Wolt offices and markets.
What you’ll be doing
From day one, you’ll work on a variety of safety-related projects, with a strong focus on compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and coordinating safety compliance across multiple countries
- Delivering safety training sessions for employees
- Promoting a strong safety culture and raising awareness across the organization
- Leading incident investigations and conducting root cause analyses
- Collaborating with stakeholders across teams, functions, and geographies
- Helping to develop and implement safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Conducting on-site safety inspections at Wolt premises
- Assisting in the creation of risk assessments
- Managing relationships with external safety vendors across different regions

- Have at least 2 years of experience in safety-related roles
- Are genuinely passionate about building a strong safety culture
- Are fluent in English, and any additional languages are a plus.
- Are familiar with international safety standards
- Are proactive, self-motivated, and take full ownership of your responsibilities
- Enjoy working in a multicultural, dynamic environment and are comfortable working independently
