We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to join our Central Team. The Central team focuses on providing one north star experience to all our customers at Wolt. You'll be collaborating closely with research, motion, content design, as well as the design system and operation team.

Foster seamless collaboration and project delivery within agile teams, guiding stakeholders through effective design rituals and reviews.

Mentor and coach designers pushing them to reach their full potential by sharing best practices, crafting best-in-class solutions, bar-raising in design reviews, and sparking inspiring conversations.
Navigate with purpose:
Translate user needs and business goals into innovative solutions that drive strategic success.
📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Berlin, Helsinki or Stockholm.
What you’ll do:
- Listen carefully. The better you understand our users problems the better your solutions will be. It’s important for us to know we are solving for real people and not just the loudest voice in the room.
- Collaborate across teams. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges. You’ll provide the thought leadership to inspire and develop the right design direction. Together, you’ll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our users.
- Imagine the way forward. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and be responsible for every last detail, every step of the way.
Who you are:
- You’ve been designing for 15+ years (app and desktop) for a consumer-focused tech company, so you understand what it takes to create elegant, consumer-oriented experiences.
- You are a versatile t-shaped designer who uses a full range of skills—product design, interaction design, and visual design—to ensure you deliver magical experiences to the customer.
- You have worked on ambiguous strategic projects, are able to create clarity amid uncertainty, and can guide team members through such projects
- You can quickly understand and give structure to new challenges; shape meaningful project briefs, and align diverse business stakeholders behind a common vision
- You’re a strong communicator who can inspire teams towards action and empathy for the user.
- You have a people-focused design mentality ensuring that design always serves real human needs
