About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

About the Role

Are you looking to take ownership of tax in a truly global environment? Join us as our Global Tax Manager, where you will help shape and manage international direct tax processes across Wolt and DoorDash’s expanding global footprint.

As part of DoorDash (NYSE: DASH) — and following the recent acquisition of Deliveroo — you will work across a wide range of jurisdictions and collaborate closely with other key business stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, partnering with global teams, and ensuring tax processes support our fast-growing international operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead global direct tax compliance and reporting for Wolt / DoorDash International, covering Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Pillar II, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement scalable tax processes across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting and other operational teams to provide practical guidance on tax-related questions and ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
  • Support operational transfer pricing matters and help ensure correct implementation across markets.
  • Deliver accurate tax inputs for DoorDash’s global tax provision and reporting cycles.
  • Monitor international tax developments, assess impacts, and contribute to strategic responses.
  • Provide proactive tax advice and internal training to elevate tax awareness across the business.

Our Expectations

  • Hands-on experience with corporate income tax processes in an international environment. We welcome applicants whose experience aligns with either a Tax or Senior Tax Manager level.
  • Understanding of international tax regulations, compliance, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with IFRS or US GAAP tax reporting is an advantage.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable steps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in building trusted relationships with Accounting and cross-functional teams.

The Wolt usuals:

  • You thrive working autonomously in a fast-moving, international environment.
  • You enjoy building partnerships, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to a collaborative culture.
  • You bring a growth mindset—curious, adaptable, and eager to develop professionally.
  • You appreciate working in a global, multicultural setting where each day offers something new.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
