Product Development at Wolt
Welcome to product+
We at Product+ are a collection of all competencies and teams that make up the engineering, design, data & analytics and product management of Wolt.
We’re the people who build, maintain and create all the products, applications, services, tools and infrastructure that is Wolt — be it our consumer-facing products or apps for our merchants, courier partners or internal tooling. We do our best to delight and be constantly available to our 45 million users across 28 countries.
Our vision: the whole city delivered
In practice, getting to the delivery of everything means building a local commerce platform that connects our customers, courier partners and restaurant and retail partners. Seamlessly and in real time.
With hungry customers, busy restaurants and courier partners, there are lots of moving parts to keep track of. Let alone throwing in our own Wolt Market grocery stores! Our logistics optimization tool calculates over hundreds of millions of routes every day. Optimizing our tech and operations for efficiency makes for interesting nuts to crack for our teams.
We craft excellence
A great product makes life better for people who use it. That’s been our mindset since day one.
Work remotely, onsite, or hybrid. Your choice.
We have tech hubs in Berlin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tokyo and Tel Aviv for closer collaboration. Our model of distributed, autonomous teams enables us to work effectively together and provide great results, whether we work together in-person or remotely. That’s why we have a hybrid working model that allows our employees to work fully remotely in our tech hub locations.
We work in cross-functional, autonomous teams
In Product+ we strongly believe in autonomous teams that are ownership driven, accountable and close to context.
We value culture over processes, we have little overhead, and trust our people to ship quality. Our teams enjoy tremendous autonomy. We’re proud of showing ownership, solving problems, improving beyond what’s expected and helping others succeed. And we do this with passion.
We build beautiful products, the Wolt way
We build at scale, but stay small at heart. And together, we're building the delivery of (almost) everything.
Product+ teams
We’re the builders of scalable, accessible and glorious products serving millions of users. Some of us work on the visible parts – making our services easy on the eye – and some of us focus on the unseen magic happening behind the scenes.
We make complex things simple. Our Data Scientists and Analysts dive into the problem at hand and provide data and tooling to analyze it. This helps in making smarter, data-driven decisions to ensure the right things are done. We love data and work hard to make others fall in love with it too.
We craft products that our users love to adopt into their daily lives. We deep-dive into our users’ needs and bring them to life within our products — from the overall user experience all the way to the finessed details that delight our users.
As the voice of our customers, we make sure we’re building outstanding products — consistently. We embody the vision of our products and own the prioritization. We obsess about our users, think big and express the “whys” of each feature.
We secure Wolt’s operations, protect user data, and safeguard our precious Wolt people. We’re not just a shield against hackers, but consider security as a holistic approach for protecting and keeping Wolt running and growing.
