Strategy and Operations Manager (m/f/x) is a central function within the regional team of Germany, supporting the successful execution of Wolt Germany's strategy 2025 through strategical & operational cross-functional project planning & alignment, ensuring all functions’ and teams’ resources are allocated and effectively used towards the successful achievement of the company’s goal.
This role works closely with the German regional leadership, focusing on the assessment and evaluation of potential future business opportunities and projects supported by a thorough strategic analysis with data based recommendations on execution and prioritization.
You will:
Collaborate cross-functionally with local and global teams (commercial, finance, operations, marketing etc.) to define short-, mid- and long-term project objectives, deliverables and success metrics.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation for project scope, roadmaps, frameworks, and action plans.
Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project progress and strategy alignment.
Ensure successful completion of action items on target deadlines
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and align on priorities.
Build and execute the strategy with the wider team, getting their hands dirty together to build the highest level of service and the best customer experience in Germany.
Our humble expectations
- 6+ years of work experience in management consulting, tech, investment banking, corporate strategy, business development, or related field; high-growth startup experience is strongly preferred
Ability to influence senior leaders, working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with an eye for detail and a passion for presenting data and information in clear, compelling ways.
Brilliant data analysis skills - exceptional ability to frame and synthesize complex business problems into clear, concise and easy-to-understand solutions. In the context of Wolt this means analytical thinking and solid Excel skills.
You have a solid track record of identifying, scoping and delivering customer centric solutions with a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving. You know what great looks like and build to scale so that your solutions will be relevant for a multiple of the current size of the business.
