As the Senior Manager, International Employee Relations, you will play a pivotal role in building Wolt's global Employee Relations (ER) strategy and aligning it with our broader talent management and business strategies. This position involves shaping the company’s approach to employee relations, driving high-impact initiatives, and managing complex ER cases across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Director of Global HR and Operations, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to design scalable solutions, mitigate risks, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and implement a global ER strategy that aligns with business objectives, company values, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with DoorDash counterparts to align and integrate best practices across both companies, leveraging synergies to create a unified approach to ER.
- Partner with the Talent and Legal teams to enhance our performance management framework, including documentation, delivering adaptable toolkits to local HR.
- Advise and lead on large organizational change initiatives, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business goals.
Case Management and Tools
- Create an ER case intake strategy to streamline the resolution process across multiple channels.
- Maintain and enhance Wolt’s existing ER case tracking system while preparing for a DoorDash-aligned ER case management tool launch and ensuring adoption later in 2025.
- Develop SLAs for case management to ensure efficiency, accountability, and consistency.
- Build and enforce guidelines for respectful workplace conduct, including internal communication behavior and escalation processes.
- Lead efforts to reduce termination costs while balancing compliance and organizational needs.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Influence
- Partner with the Talent team to design and deliver a global ER upskilling program for HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and market needs.
- Work closely with Legal to align roles and responsibilities, regulatory compliance processes and establish best practices for managing employee representation, including CBAs and Works Councils.
- Collaborate with the Internal Comms and PR team to provide expert guidance on messaging, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation for cases with potential PR impact.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders during crises or escalations, ensuring alignment on responses and safeguarding Wolt’s public reputation.
Analytics, Reporting, and Data
- Establish advanced ER analytics and reporting to track trends, measure impact, and drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with Analytics teams to build real-time dashboards for case metrics, SLA compliance, and performance outcomes.
- Use predictive analytics to proactively address ER risks and design solutions for continuous improvement and measurable results.
Leadership Development
- Build ER capability within the HR team by delivering training and mentoring on ER best practices, performance management, and feedback delivery.
- Upskill business leaders via local HR to handle ER matters effectively, fostering a culture of accountability, trust, and high performance.
Our humble expectations
Experience
- 8+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in employee relations or a related leadership role, preferably in a global or multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Proven expertise in managing complex, high-impact ER cases and designing scalable ER frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational change initiatives and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Strong background in compliance, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision-making.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Employment Law, or a related field.
