We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy to support us in strategic planning and play a key role in scaling Wolt into the future.

Wolt currently runs mainly on two main dimensions: our global central teams focused on building a business (Restaurants, Retail, Ads, …) or driving a functional topic (Delivery & Support Operations, Growth), and our 27 markets running the day-to-day business locally. Next to these, we have our product teams building world-class tools and products for our customers, courier partners and internal teams. All are jointly motivated to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Wolt Finance & Strategy team works hand-in-hand with different parts of Wolt to set goals, track performance, define and execute actions as well as new ideas. The team acts both as the challenger and helper towards our central teams teams and countries, working on both tactical and strategic time horizons, and synthesizes the complexity into one total Wolt view. Wolt Finance & Strategy is not just about managing numbers, it's about shaping the future of Wolt.

In this role you will be at the very center of this all and get a front row seat into Wolt. You will work in Global Planning team, responsible for coordinating and developing our yearly and quarterly planning approach, as well as play a key role in setting our long term targets. This team is also involved when Wolt level decisions are made, often guiding our senior leaders in decision making. Your excellent analytical acumen, strategic mindset and people skills will come into play daily. There’s also an element of interacting with our parent company DoorDash.

You will report directly to our Head of Global Planning, Wolt Finance & Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Annual & Quarterly Planning: Play a critical role in orchestrating and developing our planning approach, as well as setting overall targets and budgets.
• Collaboration & Influence: Work closely with our senior leadership, including counterparts on DoorDash, and our Finance & Strategy teams in helping to analyze the drivers of current performance and to achieve targets.
• Strategic Analysis: Take ownership of finding, analyzing and structuring the next strategic initiatives we should pursue. Collaborate with senior management to make decisions and help in transforming them into reality. Do all this with data-driven mindset, while navigating fluently different stakeholders, tools and data.
• Build Towards Future: Leverage your experiences in other companies and play a role when supporting the next phase of Wolt’s growth journey, where we build towards a strong Finance & Strategy team which tackles the complexity of our operating environment and drives towards great performance.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in management consulting, tech, investment banking, corporate strategy, business development, or related experience; high-growth startup experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to influence senior leaders, working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in modeling and analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Looker, SQL)
• Proven track record of achieving tangible outcomes and setting and achieving targets
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner
