Do you have experience with payroll and/or people software related projects, ideally with some experience or understanding of payroll processes? Do you want to be part of our growing team in a truly global tech company and contribute to scaling up and developing payroll operations? Our selected candidate could be based either in Finland, Hungary, or Slovakia.

With this attitude, we have during the past couple of years launched new platforms in the people team, updated our global way of working model, and undergone many payroll implementations and enhancements. And keep on moving the needle forward every day with new change activities and we do need a new pair of helping hands.

Specifically in our global payroll team, we are looking for a Payroll Project Manager. to lead some of our new upcoming projects and keep our North Star vision present when leading new implementations or change projects. What you’ll be doing

  • Take active end-to-end ownership of your projects, which will include payroll vendor change, system integrations, and country expansions.
  • Execute to a high quality, underpinned by measurable success criteria 
  • Work closely with our counterparts in different teams in all project-related activities, ensuring that the global design turns into local payroll processes keeping our North Star goals present. 
  • Work with the wider payroll team to ensure new designs fulfill all local statutory and legal requirements.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, drive project change management and training, ensuring we have successful implementations from all stakeholder perspectives. 
  • Drive for high-end knowledge transfer for post-production activities after a project “go live", and identify gaps and opportunities to improve as we move to Service.
  • In all of this, you’ll join the Payroll Transformation Team, working side-by-side with our global payroll team members.

Our humble expectations

  • Ideally, you have a good understanding of people processes and payroll process design, with a clear view of what works and what doesn’t. 
  • Huge advantage if you’ve had exposure and experience in payroll implementation projects, either on the vendor or client side, and ideally also in a multi-country environment.
  • You have a technical understanding of common HR tools and how they contribute to payroll.
  • Previous experience with a global payroll vendor is a strong advantage.
  • Technical knowledge of SAP tools  is an asset
  • SFTP not being an alien acronym  to you, this is a big plus.
  • A passion for payroll, data, process development and technology is a must.
  • You have excellent planning, problem solving and time management skills.
  • You are a strong communicator, with high working proficiency in English. 
  • You have the ability to look at matters from different perspectives and not be afraid to ask questions.
  • You enjoy taking ownership and delivering results.
