As we’re looking to increase our impact and make it more visible across stakeholders, we are now searching for a skilled and proactive Merchant Communications Manager to join our communications team, reporting to the Global Head of Merchant Communications.

This role will be an integral part of the Global Merchant Communications team and central to shaping especially our merchant-focused communication. We’re seeking a motivated and creative thinker who thrives in a global setting, thinks digital first, and enjoys building something new.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing communication strategies that align with our business objectives.

• Help build and shape the way we engage and communicate with 120,000+ restaurants and stores across Wolt’s countries.

• Diversify the channels that Wolt communicates on; execute visual and simple communications across channels.

• Create practical guidance, playbooks, and best practices to empower global, regional, and local teams to manage communications activities independently.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including the global Merchant team, Legal, Operations, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure an integrated approach to communications.

Our Humble Expectations

• 3–5 years of experience in external or internal communications, ideally within the platform economy or tech sector, and with a digital-first mindset.

• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and drive projects independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to adjust the tone for different audiences and simplify complex topics.

• Familiarity with building proactive initiatives and communicating complex topics clearly.

• Strong attention to detail and high standards for your own work and that of others.

• Willingness to occasionally travel and join calls outside business hours due to the global nature of the role and our partnership with DoorDash that we joined forces with in 2022.
