We are looking for an ambitious and analytical Finance and Strategy Intern to join our Wolt Ads team. As a Finance and Strategy Intern, you will support the Business and Financial Lead in developing financial processes, tools, and data models that drive insights and support the growth of our Ads business across 30 countries. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic finance, business analysis, and data modeling within a fast-paced and innovative advertising environment.

Our Wolt Ads Product team is responsible for building and scaling our Ads business globally. As a Finance and Strategy Intern, you will assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), data reporting, and performance monitoring, helping to ensure the accuracy and completeness of business and financial data while identifying opportunities for optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and business analysis tools using platforms like Looker or Power BI to provide insights into Ads KPIs and performance levers.
• Support the structuring and organization of financial data and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to forecasting models, business plans, and strategic analysis.
• Help with the development and implementation of financial compliance processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows and reconciliations.
• Perform market and competitor research to support decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
• Assist in data modeling and analysis to optimize business processes and performance.
• Prepare presentations and summaries of financial and strategic insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Monitor trends and best practices in advertising and finance to help improve existing processes.

Our humble expectations:

• Currently pursuing a final year in bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or an eagerness to learn database querying and ETL processes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly and concisely.
• Interest in finance, strategy, and the advertising industry.
