On the Global Merchant team, our mission is to provide best-in-class merchant selection—spanning restaurants and other verticals—to deliver exceptional value to consumers while empowering merchants to grow their businesses profitably on Wolt. We achieve this by building worldclass operations, launching innovative products and collaborating closely with commercial teams across our 30+ countries.
Our five global subteams focus on distinct areas of the merchant lifecycle and experience but also our internal efficiency related to reaching our mission:
The Merchant S&O (Strategy & Operations) team is responsible for our merchant and selection strategy, merchant experience, planning and performance tracking, operating model design as well as commercial go-to-market approaches
The Revenue S&O team owns and develops the revenue strategy, goaling, sales operations processes, tools and enablement programs to support and improve the productivity of our countries’ sales & account management teams.
The Merchant Operations subteam focuses on smooth execution of core processes such as onboarding, in-store flows, self-service tooling and integrations - this in a very tight collaboration with our product teams
The Enterprise team works directly with global current and prospective merchant partners to unlock and grow our joint business
The B2B subteam owns and develops some of our newer service offerings for merchants - such as logistics as a service (Drive)
About the Role
The Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations will own and drive revenue strategy across 30 countries, overseeing a global team of 1,000+ sales and account management professionals. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy, aligning Sales & Account Management Operations, Incentive strategy, Training & Enablement, Business Systems and Compliance to drive business success. They will centrally design and implement processes, tools, and frameworks–including incentive plan design, sales process optimization, CRM enablement, and technology adoption–ensuring global adoption and impact. As the owner of key company OKRs, they will work closely with both country and central teams to execute revenue initiatives and optimize performance. This is a management position with high visibility and direct influence on the company’s global success. This role will be located (or willing to relocate) in Berlin or Helsinki.
What you will be doing
Own and drive Sales & Account Management OKRs at a global level, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Enhance productivity for a team of 1,000+ Sales & Account Management professionals across 30 countries by standardizing frameworks, developing tooling, and driving accountability.
Advocate for local teams by representing their voice to the executive team and ensuring their needs are addressed.
Lead and develop the Revenue Strategy & Operations team across Revenue S&O, Sales Planning & Incentives, Business Systems, Compliance, and Enablement.
Collaborate with country GMs and sales leadership to achieve revenue targets by establishing Weekly Business Review (WBR) cadences, developing Go-To-Market (GTM) playbooks, and driving accountability.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Analytics, and Legal, to align on company goals while balancing scalable global solutions with country-specific needs.
Our humble expectations
Extensive experience in Strategy & Operations (S&O) or as a General Manager (GM), with a track record of owning company OKRs and driving wide-scale impact.
Strong leadership experience, having led teams of 10+ S&O professionals across multiple functions.
Proven ability to build and navigate partnerships across diverse country profiles, securing buy-in and driving collaborative execution.
Deep expertise in improving the productivity of Sales & Account Management teams, including compensation design, systems & CRM development, and accountability frameworks.
Exceptional executive presentation and overall communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to uncover challenges, analyze data, and translate high-level goals into actionable execution.
