As a Wolt Market Category Associate you will help us ensure we have the right products, at the right prices, at the right locations! We are not an average supermarket and we want our product portfolio to reflect our unique customer base. You will help design assortment across select categories and support/drive KPI analysis and reporting. With the support of senior category manager, you will co-own the assortment, promotions plan and supplier relationships for selected categories such as fruits and vegetables. You will have to work closely with:
- other category managers to analyze assortment performance and KPIs in detail as well as plan new assortment
- our stores and supply chain manager to ensure that we have the right assortment and stock levels at every location
- our suppliers to ensure we have the right products, at the best quality in every location
In this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent player with an ability to execute every single day.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyzing and reporting on our assortment, promotions, and pricing performance
- Following latest trends and identifying gaps in our portfolio
- Listing of new products, managing data related to suppliers and products in selection, constantly update it at a store level to meet customer needs
- Drive select projects to achieve business goals (e.g., new influencer products)
- Driving effective negotiations with suppliers to establish joint goals, improve cost structure, and sustainably grow the P&L.
- Continually improve and automate manual processes to enable you and your team to scale better as the business grows.
Our humble expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in grocery or category management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; knowledge and demonstrated use of other tools such as VBA, SQL, AI tools is a strong plus
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting.
The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.
