The role you are looking at is a part of Wolt Market - our very own grocery stores that deliver unprecedented convenience and world leading customer experience. People across Latvia can order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at lightspeed! We are now searching for a full time Store Manager to lead one of our stores in Riga, Latvia. In this role, you’ll find yourself in a challenging but well supported position. You have a strong influence on how your city operations will look like. What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Wolt Market Operations Team Lead, the Store Manager has ownership of the store’s day-to-day operations. The Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of Grocery Associates, Shift Leads and ensuring that our day-to-day Store operations reach set KPI’s. This includes planning work shifts according to operational needs, while pushing for efficient operations, ensuring the Store meets different safety and security demands, and staying on top of freshness, inventory and stock management. The Store Manager is also involved in hiring Grocery Associates, Shift leads and owns the hiring decision.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth workflows and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Oversee product freshness, stock levels, inventory accuracy, and effective waste control.
- Hire, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of Grocery Associates and Shift Leads (approx. 15–25 team members).
- Plan and manage shift schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels aligned with operational demands.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment at all times.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Team Lead and key support functions such as Admin and Talent.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of day and night shift tasks, including order fulfillment, inbound deliveries, and cleaning routines.
- Actively participate in internal meetings to align on goals and share insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in store operations by leveraging team feedback and data-driven insights.

- Experience working in a fast-paced grocery stores, retail outlets, or fast-food restaurants
- A proactive, service-minded approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting with a can-do, hands-on attitude.
- Comfortable using KPI data to drive decisions and continuously improve performance.
- Quick to learn, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools and systems.
- Flexible to work on weekdays, with some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Fluent in both Latvian and English communication skills.

Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Please note, that the starting pay may vary if the candidate does not fully meet the expectations as outlined in this job posting.
The salary below is the monthly salary range for this position.
