Job overview
Reporting to the Wolt Market Operations Manager, the Store Manager has ownership of the store’s day-to-day operations. The Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of Grocery Associates and Shift Leads, and ensuring that our day-to-day Store operations reach set KPI’s. This includes planning work shifts according to operational needs, while pushing for efficient operations, ensuring the Store meets different safety and security demands, and staying on top of freshness, inventory and stock management. The Store Manager is also involved in hiring Grocery Associates, and owns the hiring decision.
Role responsibilities
- Being responsible for the day-to-day store operations, including staying on top of freshness, inventory and stock management.
- Developing and improving the way our stores operate.
- Lead and motivate a team of 5-30 individuals. Create an environment where your colleagues can do their best work.
- Managing shift scheduling.
- Handling orders and order of the store.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience.
- Proactive and service-minded attitude.
- Tech savviness and ability to use different tech and data tools.
- Ability to work both during the day, evenings and weekends.
- Data-driven and analytical.
- Experience from working in a grocery store is a plus.
- Fluent level of local language and English.
